Dear FCPS Families:
As you know, winter weather led to a one-hour early dismissal on Thursday, January 5, 2017 and a snow day on Friday, January 6, 2017 for all of our students. At this point, we do not have to make up the one hour early dismissal, but we do have to make up the missed school day.
To make up the missed instructional time, we will take the first weather make-up day that was built into the calendar. We will now be going to school on March 17, 2017, which was originally scheduled as a day off for students. Please mark your calendars for this change. March 17, 2017 will now be a regular school day for our students.
1/3/17 Families - this week we sent home an early dismissal form that asks for updated contact information in case we have an early dismissal. This helps us contact you so that we can confirm the proper dismissal procedures for your child. Please turn this form in as soon as possible. Thanks!

Kroger Community Rewards - Enroll/Re-enrollment is now going on. Please select James Lane Allen Elementary PTA as your organization. If you previously enrolled, you will need to re-enroll in order for JLA to continue receive the community rewards.
